Throughout the 6 week course, starting in September, children will explore the wonderful world of paint in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Each session will introduce new skills and encourage children to experiment, develop confidence and express their own creativity. Children will learn about: Colour theory, including primary, secondary, warm, cool and complementary colours. Colour mixing, discovering how to create new shades, tones and tints. Painting techniques, using different brushes, tools and mark-making methods. Texture and layering, exploring how paint can be built up and combined. Composition and observation, helping children plan and develop their own artwork. No previous painting experience is needed. The course is suitable for children who love creating as well as those who are just beginning to explore art. Prices Booking option Price Individual session £10 All six sessions booked together £40 Parents (or Grandparents or carers) stay on site while children take part in the session, giving you the chance to relax, chat with other parents, or enjoy refreshments.
